Just received my copy ordered from Gray & Company! This agnostic has followed you for years, and I always find hope and truth in your words.

The song that you quoted is one that is very special to me. It was one of the songs my brother and I used at our parents' funerals. It still chokes me up whenever it is played at Mass. Looking forward to your book signing at Visible Voices in Tremont next month.

A shining light in the darkness in our country.

What a touching story. I too am a mess, recovering alcoholic, barely believing Catholic, sexual abuse survivor, spiritual seeker. We never know who our words will touch or when. There are people I've crossed paths with, in recovery, whose words and actions stay with me today even though it has been years. It may take a little longer but I suspect your "unsexy" book will reach many here in the USA.

Thank you so much, Regina. Your story of Poland’s needing the books we never saw here inspired me. I’m 81, partially disabled and trying to figure out what God’s purpose is for me. He must have one or I wouldn’t still be here. Maybe I won’t know until I meet him face to face, but your words today encouraged me to hang in there.

You still have a purpose. To love the world and to be you. When I had cancer, I had this quote on my nightstand: If you woke up today, God isn’t through with you yet.

Thank you. That’s what I keep telling myself. My New Year’s Resolution was to find my purpose; almost a year later and I’m still trying to find it…

Regina, thanks to the "gift" of Google Translate, I just wanted you to know that I love the titles of your Polish books when I could translate them to English. Then I read on your blog that there are FOUR Regina Brett books in the world that are published in Polish, not in English 😥. However, I eagerly await the arrival of your new book in my mailbox. I loved the poem by Sean Thomas Dougherty you shared. Right now, yes, I do feel like I need what you offered in your new book. And maybe one day, your Polish books will be available in English. Thank you for the writing you share with the world 🙏 It is balm for my weary soul. If there was ever such a time which needs your writing, it is definitely needed now.
